(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 지난 24일, ‘BOOK WAVE, BOOK SOAR(책의 물결, 책 날아오르다)’를 주제로 인천아트플랫폼에서 개최된 ‘2025 인천 아트북페어(IABF)’ 행사에 2,500여 명의 시민들이 참여한 가운데 성황리에 마무리됐다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 올해로 6회를 맞이한 ‘인천 아트북페어(IABF)’는 독립출판사와 독립서점 130개 팀이 참여해 독립출판물의 전시·판매와 낭독 공연, 시민 참여형 워크숍 등 다채로운 프로그램을 선보이며 큰 호응을 얻었다.
행사에서는 진주.가희, 최진영, 이석원 작가가 참여한 북토크가 특히 눈길을 끌었다.
작가들은 시민들과 함께 책에 대한 생각을 나누고, 질의응답을 통해 공감과 소통의 시간을 가졌다.
또한, 2025년 ‘볼로냐 라가치상’을 수상한 인천 출신 작가 진주·가희의 작품 ‘빨간 사과가 먹고 싶다면’의 원화 전시도 함께 열려 인천 작가에 대한 자부심을 더욱 고취시켰다.
이 밖에도 양장 노트 만들기 체험, 책 구매 및 설문 참여 시 음료와 기념 엽서, 에코백 등 굿즈를 제공하는 다양한 이벤트가 마련되어 시민들에게 풍성한 즐거움을 선사했다.
윤도영 시 문화체육국장은 “이번 아트북페어가 독립출판과 독립서점을 응원하는 셀러들과 현장을 찾아주신 많은 시민들의 관심과 애정 덕분에 성공적으로 마무리될 수 있었다”며 “내년에도 더욱 풍성한 프로그램으로 시민들에게 책과 독서의 다채로운 즐거움을 선사할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
