군포시가 5월을 상반기(5~6월) 지방세 체납액 집중정리 기간으로 정해 지방세 체납액 징수 활동에 총력을 다하기로 했다.
군포시의 2025년 지방세 체납액 정리목표액은 81억3,000만 원으로 5월 말까지 목표대비 43%인 35억원 징수를 목표로 상반기 특별 집중정리 기간을 운영한다.
군포시는 집중정리 기간에 체납고지서와 안내문 발송과 함께, 시 자체적으로 운영 중인 카카오 알림톡을 활용한 전자고지 서비스를 통해 납부를 유도할 예정이다.
군포시는 부동산, 차량, 예금, 직장 급여, 가상자산 전수조사 등 체납자 재산에 대한 압류조치와 상습체납자에 대하여는 공공기록정보 등록, 관허사업 제한 등의 행정제재를 실시할 예정이다.
군포시는 경기도와 합동으로 지난 3월 18일부터 4월 15일까지 고액·상습 체납자 4명을 대상으로 가택수색을 실시해 현장에서 1,300만 원을 징수한 바 있다.
군포시는 앞으로도 철저한 사전조사와 지속적인 현장 탐문을 통해 고액·상습 체납자의 재산을 실질적으로 파악하고, 납부 능력이 있음에도 세금을 회피하는 경우 엄정 대응할 방침이다.
군포시는 경제적 어려움으로 세금 납부가 어려운 생계형 체납자에게는 분할 납부를 유도하거나 복지서비스와 연계해 실태조사와 정리보류를 통해 신뢰받는 세무행정을 추진할 계획이다.
