(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 오는 9월 8일부터 12일까지 송도 컨벤시아와 인천 일원에서 ‘제21차 인천 아시아건축사대회(ACA21)’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 시는 이번 대회 유치를 위해 2023년 6월 대한건축사협회와 업무협약을 체결했으며, 같은 해 9월 최종 개최지로 선정된 이후 시도 건축사회 회장과 인천을 대표하는 건축사 등 관련 인사들로 조직위원회를 구성해 국제포럼 참여를 통한 대회 홍보와 인천시장 명예대회장 위촉 등 성공적 개최를 위한 사전 준비를 진행해 왔다.
이번 행사는 ‘Better Tomorrow’를 주제로 열리며, 학술 프로그램과 위원회, 시상식, 전시회, 공식 사교 행사, 학생 잼보리, 국민참여형 프로그램 등 다양한 부대행사와 함께 진행될 예정이다.
국내외 건축사와 건축 관련 전공 학생 등 15,000여 명이 참여할 것으로 예상되며, 오는 6월부터 ‘제21차 인천 아시아건축사대회(ACA21)’ 공식 누리집을 개설해 국내외 참가자들의 신청을 받을 계획이다.
