(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 27일부터 고등학교 특수교육 대상 학생들의 진로 및 취업 지원 강화를 위해 ‘찾아가는 진로 취업 컨설팅’을 운영한다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 컨설팅은 지난 5월 1일부터 중학교 3학년 대상 학생과 학부모, 중등 특수교사를 대상으로 진행 중인 컨설팅을 고등학교 학부모까지 확대한 것이다.
장애 학생 진로취업컨설팅단은 각 학교를 직접 방문하여 생애주기별 진로 설계, 고등학교 및 전공과 진학, 특별전형 대학입시, 장애인 문화예술·체육 분야 취업, 직업훈련 등 학생 개개인에게 필요한 맞춤형 정보를 제공한다.
또, 희망하는 학부모를 위해 온라인 상담도 병행하여 참여 기회를 확대했다.
인천시교육청은 장애인고용공단, 장애인종합복지관, 장애인체육회, 발달장애인훈련센터 등 지역 유관기관의 전문가들과 협력하여 컨설팅의 전문성과 체계성을 높일 방침이다.
인천시교육청 관계자는 “이번 컨설팅은 장애 학생의 꿈, 도전, 성장을 지원하기 위한 것”이라며 “학생 한 명 한 명이 결대로 성장해 나갈 수 있도록 현장 중심의 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 밝혔다.

Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 27th that it will operate ‘On-site Career and Employment Consulting’ to strengthen career and employment support for students with special education in high schools.
