브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 조원진 우리공화당 대표는 27일 이낙연 새미래민주당 상임고문의 김문수 후보 지지 선언을 환영하며 이재명 더불어민주당 후보의 독재공포정치를 반드시 막아야 한다고 주장했다.
조원진 대표는 이날 보도자료를 내고 “오늘 이낙연 새미래민주당 상임고문이 오랜 고민과 숙고 끝에 김문수 후보 지지를 공식 선언한 것은 이재명 독재공포정치에 대한 위기의식에 따른 충정 어린 결단”이라며 “김문수 후보 대선 승리를 통해 자유대한민국을 지키고 국민의 어려운 서민경제를 살릴 수 있도록 최선을 다하자”고 말했다.
조 대표는 “김문수 후보는 개인 비리가 없고 도덕적으로 흠결이 없는 깨끗한 대통령 후보로서 좌와 우를 아울러 국민 통합을 이끌 수 있는 적임자”라면서 “김문수 후보가 대통령이 되면, 서민경제, 기업경제를 안정적으로 이끌고 일자리를 창출하는 등 진짜 경제 대통령이 될 것”이라고 말했다.
이어 “이제 선거의 막바지로 접어들었다. 순간의 선택이 대한민국의 미래를 결정한다”면서 “이준석 후보도 이재명의 독재공포정치를 막을 수 있도록 끝까지 단일화에 동참해야 한다. 국민의 간절한 여망을 거절해서는 안된다. 함께 손잡고 이재명의 나라를 막아내자”고 말했다.
