(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 중부지방해양경찰청이 지난 28일, 충남 태안 가의도 인근 해상에서 여객선 전도.침몰 상황을 가정한 2025년 2분기 수난대비 기본훈련을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
중부해경청에 따르면, 이번 훈련에는 태안군청, 태안소방서, 태안의료원, 국방과학연구소, 태안해안국립공원사무소, 육군 8해안감시대대, 한서대학교 등 10개 유관 기관이 참여했으며, 경비함정 및 관공선 13척, 헬기 1대, 드론 4대가 동원됐다.
훈련은 여객선 침몰 등 대규모 해양사고 발생 시 실전 대응 능력을 강화하기 위해 구조세력 긴급 출동, 선내 고립자 퇴선 유도, 해상 표류자 구조, 부상자 응급처치 및 이송 등의 민.관.군 합동 구조 절차를 실제 상황에 준해 진행했다.
특히, 광역구조본부를 비상 가동해 수난구호에 관한 사항을 총괄.조정.지휘하고, 표류예측시스템을 활용해 예상 표류 위치에 수색 구역을 지정했다.
