(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 지난 29일 동보1차아파트경로당을 직접 방문해 운영 현황을 점검하고, 어르신들의 건의사항을 경청하는 소통의 시간을 가졌다고 밝혔다.
계양구에 따르면,이번 방문은 윤환 구청장이 민원현장을 직접 찾아가 어르신들의 일상과 경로당 이용 실태를 파악하고, 필요한 개선 사항을 청취하기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 한 어르신은 “바쁜 일정 중에도 직접 방문해 운영 상황을 꼼꼼히 살피고, 회원들의 이야기에 귀 기울여 주셔서 진심으로 감사하다.”고 말했다.
윤환 구청장은 “경로당은 어르신들이 편안하게 머무를 수 있는 중요한 쉼터”라며, “더욱 안전하고 쾌적한 환경을 조성해 어르신들이 불편 없이 생활하실 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.

또한, 계양구가 지난 29일, 윤환 계양구청장이 계양구 사회복지회관을 방문해 주요 시설물을 점검하고, 환경 개선이 필요한 부분을 직접 확인했다고 밝혔다.
계양구에 따르면, 사회복지회관은 준공 33년이 지난 노유자시설로, 현재 계양구가족센터, 계양시니어클럽 등 6개 기관이 입주해 있으며, 연간 많은 구민이 이용하는 주요 복지 거점이다.
윤환 구청장은 이날 시설의 내·외부 전반을 꼼꼼히 살펴보며, 향후 개선이 필요한 사항에 대해 관계 부서에 신속한 대응책 마련을 지시했다.
