(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천해양경찰서가 2일, 해루질을 하다 고립된 20대 남녀 3명을 구조했다고 밝혔다.
인천해경에 따르면, 지난 5월 30일 오전 2시 36분께 옹진군 영흥면 선재도 인근에서 3명이 고립됐다는 신고를 접수했다.
인천해경 영흥파출소 경찰관들은 신고 접수 즉시 인천해양재난구조대와 현장으로 이동했다.
구조 당시 이들은 가슴까지 물이 차 있었으며 바다에 떠 있던 스티로폼 부이(부표) 하나를 잡고 있던 상황이었으며 구명조끼는 3명 중 1명만 착용하고 있었다.
영흥파출소 경찰관들과 인천해양재난구조대원들은 3시 25분께 20대 남성 2명과 20대 여성 1명을 구조했다.
이들은 모두 생명에는 지장이 없으며, 저체온증을 호소해 인근 병원으로 이송됐다.
인천해경은 구조된 3명이 물때를 인지하지 못하고 갯벌활동을 하다 고립된 것으로 보고 있다.
구조에 나선 영흥파출소 조현진 경장은 “해양재난구조대원들의 적극적인 협조로 고립자를 신속하게 구조할 수 있었다”며 “갯벌활동 시에는 구명조끼 등 안전장비를 착용하고 간조 1시간 전 알람을 맞춰 알람이 울리면 즉시 나와야 한다”고 말했다.
