(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 2일, ‘암생존자 주간’(6월 첫째 주)을 맞아 시청 접견실에서 인천권역암생존자통합지지센터를 비롯한 10개 기관과 함께 암생존자 통합지지사업 활성화를 위한 민.관 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 이번 협약은 전국 최초로 암생존자 통합지지사업을 위해 민.관이 협력한 사례로, 협약식에는 인천권역암생존자통합지지센터를 비롯해 상급종합병원 3곳(길병원, 인하대병원, 인천성모병원), 지역책임의료기관 4곳(나은병원, 인천세종병원, 인천의료원, 인천적십자병원), 관련 단체 2곳(인천광역시의사회, 한국여자의사회 인천지회) 등 총 10개 기관이 참여했다.
인천시는 지난 2020년 1월, 보건복지부로부터 길병원을 인천권역암생존자통합지지센터로 지정받아 암 치료를 마친 생존자에게 치료받은 병원과 관계없이 다양한 통합지지 프로그램을 제공하고 있다.
