이번 전시는 폐산업 구조물인 열교환기와 고온에서 소성된 포슬린 파편을 중심으로 구성된 설치작업을 통해 무너지고 흔들리는 존재의 상태를 어떻게 받아들이며 살아갈 수 있는지에 대한 존재론적 질문을 던진다.

열교환기는 한때 뜨거움과 차가움이 교차하던 산업의 심장이었지만 이제는 기능을 멈춘 채 녹슬고 닳아진 표면만을 간직하고 있다.
작가는 이러한 열교환기를 감정과 기억이 흐른 흔적이 남은 신체적 메타포로 바라본다.
에너지가 순환하던 구조물은 이제 뜨거운 열을 생성하거나 전달하지 않지만 시간의 겹과 정체성의 균열, 지나간 삶의 감각을 품은 채 새로운 의미로 재탄생한다.
작가는 더 이상 작동하지 않고 식어버린 열교환기와 깨진 도자기 조각이라는 서로 상반된 물성을 결합시킴으로서 ‘부서진 상태’ 자체가 하나의 존재 방식이자 조형 언어가 될 수 있음을 보여준다.
