금산군, '카카오톡 채널 활용' 지방세 안내

충남 금산군이 지방세 행정의 효율성과 접근성을 높이기 위해 디지털 기반의 소통 채널을 본격적으로 홍보하고 있다. 

군은 지난해 ‘금산군 지방세 종합안내’ 카카오톡 채널을 개설한 이후, 납세자 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하며, 이용 활성화에 힘을 쏟고 있다.

그동안 지방세 환급 및 안내는 우편, 전화, 방문, 위택스(WeTax) 등을 통해 이뤄졌으나, 시간과 장소의 제약이 커 납세자 불편이 지속적으로 제기돼 왔다. 

특히 소액 환급금의 경우, 신청 절차에 대한 정보 부족이나 접근성 문제로 환급이 누락되는 사례가 많았다. 이에 군은 보다 직관적이고 간소한 방식으로 정보를 제공하기 위해 모바일 플랫폼을 도입했다.

‘금산군 지방세 종합안내’ 채널은 카카오톡 친구 추가만으로 간편하게 이용할 수 있으며, 정기분·수시분 등 연간 지방세 정보는 물론, 환급 안내와 신청까지 원스톱으로 처리할 수 있다.

납세자가 환급통지서를 받은 후 1:1 채팅창에 자신의 이름, 은행명, 본인 명의의 환급 계좌번호를 입력해 전송하면, 담당 공무원이 이를 확인한 뒤 별도의 서류 제출 없이 7일 이내에 환급금을 지급하는 방식이다.

군 관계자는 “지방세 종합안내 채널을 통해 납세자에게 효율적으로 지방세 정보를 전달하고, 환급 절차 또한 간소화됐다"며, "향후에도 납세자의 편의를 최우선으로 고려하는 적극적인 세무 행정을 펼쳐 나가겠다"고 말했다.

After the taxpayer receives the refund notice, he or she enters his or her name, bank name, and refund account number in the 1:1 chat window and sends it. After the official in charge confirms it, the refund is paid within 7 days without submitting any additional documents.
