(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 4일부터 관내 중·고등학교 특수교육 대상 학생의 학부모를 대상으로 ‘진로 직업 연수’를 운영한다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 연수는 기존 중등 특수교사 대상에서 학부모까지 대상을 확대해(교사 95명, 학부모 179명), 장애 학생의 진로·진학·취업·복지 등 다양한 성장 경로를 안내하고 진로 역량 강화를 지원하고자 마련됐다.
연수는 참여자의 관심 분야에 따라 선택형으로 진행되며 진로·진학 설계, 특별전형 대비, 평생교육 활용 등 강의형 연수와 함께 발달장애인훈련센터 탐방 및 제과제빵, 공예 등 직무 체험 프로그램도 운영된다.
인천시교육청 관계자는 “장애 학생이 자신의 가능성을 발견하고 확장해 나갈 수 있도록 교육공동체가 함께 진로 직업 역량 강화를 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
