(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 학생들의 진로 선택을 지원하기 위해 10일 인천보건고와 재능고를 시작으로 ‘2025 인천교육가족 학교탐방’ 사업을 11월까지 운영한다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 올해 학교 탐방은 초·중학교 학생들과 학부모들이 관내 직업계고와 과학중점고 등을 직접 방문해 특화된 교육과정과 교육시설을 살펴보고, 진로·진학 정보를 제공받을 수 있도록 구성됐다.
또한, 학생과 학부모가 교육 수요자의 시각에서 다양한 의견을 개진할 수 있도록 했다.
시교육청은 지난해 직업계고 대상 12회의 탐방을 운영한 결과 높은 만족도를 보였으며, 올해는 과학중점고와 공간 재구조화 추진교 등으로 범위를 확대해 총 13회, 26개교를 탐방할 예정이다.
6월 10일 탐방에 참여한 한 학부모는 “직업계고의 첨단 교육환경에 깊은 인상을 받았고, 기존 편견을 깨는 계기가 됐다”고 말했다.
인천시교육청 관계자는 “이번 탐방이 학생들의 진로 선택에 실질적인 도움이 되고, 다양한 학생들이 자신의 개성을 살려 결대로 성장할 수 있는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 전했다.
인천시교육청은 앞으로을 지속 추진해 학생들의 진로 탐색과 자기 주도적 성장을 적극 지원할 방침이다.
