(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 10일, ‘찾아가는 아이사랑 육아코칭’ 사업을 본격 추진한다고 밝혔다.
계양구에 따르면, 이번 사업은 지난해 시범사업으로 운영되어 양육자들로부터 큰 호응을 얻었으며, 올해도 여성친화도시 조성을 위한 인천시 공모사업에 선정돼 더욱 확대 추진하게 됐다.
계양구는 9일 계양구육아종합지원센터의 보육 교직원들로 구성된 양육코칭 전문가를 대상으로 역량강화 교육을 실시했다.
이번 교육은 현장 중심의 맞춤형 육아 지원을 위한 실질적인 전문성을 높이기 위한 자리로 마련됐다.
‘찾아가는 아이사랑 육아코칭’은 전문가의 재능기부를 바탕으로, 육아코칭이 필요한 영유아(0~7세) 가정을 직접 방문해 맞춤형 코칭을 제공하고, 돌봄양육자의 다양한 육아 고민을 상담하는 사업이다.
올해는 기존 방문 코칭 서비스에 더해 새로운 프로그램을 추가한다.
시간적·경제적 제약으로 다양한 장난감을 준비하기 어려운 가정을 위해 아이들의 성장 단계에 맞춘 장난감을 대여해 주는 ‘찾아가는 장난감 대여’ 서비스를 6월부터 시작한다.
이날 진행된 역량강화 교육에서는 컨설팅의 기본사항, 컨설턴트의 역할(문제 해결, 대인관계, 의사소통, 팀워크, 리더십), 컨설턴트의 자세(부모 마음 이해하기, 상담 기본자세 점검, 어울림 필요성 인식) 등을 주제로 교육하여 상담가의 전문성을 높였다.
계양구 관계자는 “이번 사업을 통해 부모와 자녀 간의 관계 개선은 물론, 육아에 대한 긍정적인 경험이 확산되기를 기대한다.”며 “앞으로도 부모들이 안심하고 양육할 수 있는 환경 조성을 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
