충남 금산군이 지역경제 자립 기반을 강화하고자 올해 하반기 지역공동체 일자리 사업을 새롭게 발굴해 추진한다.
상반기 사업 예산 조정으로 확보된 잔여 재정을 활용해 약 3명의 신규 인력도 고용할 계획이다.
군은 지역의 인적·물적 자원 및 특성, 기술과 공간을 최대한 활용해 공동체 기반의 지속 가능한 일자리를 확장하는 데 초점을 맞췄다. 하반기 추가 발굴 사업은 '지역 자원 활용', '지역 기업과의 연계', '서민생활 지원', '지역공간 개선' 등의 분야에서 추진된다.
현재 금산군 지역공동체 일자리 사업은 총 4억3000만 원의 예산이 투입돼 오는 11월까지 운영된다. 주요 참여자는 취업 취약계층으로, 단기성 일자리를 넘어 지역사회에 실질적인 기여가 가능한 활동을 중심으로 구성됐다.
사업은 지역 특성과 주민 수요를 반영한 참여형 사업을 중심으로 운영되며, 4개 유형에 걸쳐 9개 세부사업이 진행 중이다. 총 42명의 지역 주민이 현장에 투입돼 일자리뿐 아니라 지역 공동체의 활력을 되살리는 데 기여하고 있다.
