(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 오는 6월 20일부터 7월 4일까지, 장애인의 안전하고 편리한 주거환경을 조성하기 위해 추진하는 ‘장애인 주택 개조사업’의 대상자를 모집한다고 밝혔다.
계양구에 따르면, 이번 사업은 장애인의 거주지 내 편의시설 설치 및 개조를 통해 주거환경을 개선하는 데 중점을 두고 있으며, 출입로 및 경사로 설치, 안전 손잡이, 화장실 개조, 문턱 낮추기 등이 포함된다.
지난해에는 19가구를 지원했으며, 만족도 조사 결과 높은 호응을 얻었다.
올해 지원 규모는 총 15가구이며, 지원금은 가구당 최대 380만 원이다.
신청 대상은 계양구에 거주하는 등록장애인 중 전년도 도시근로자 가구당 월평균 소득 이하인 사람으로, 자가 또는 임대주택에 거주하는 경우 신청할 수 있다.
다만, 최근 3년 내 국가나 지자체, 공공기관 등에서 유사한 주택 개조 지원을 받은 경우는 제외된다.
