충남 홍성군이 청년층의 지역 정착과 자립 기반 마련을 위한 본격적인 행보에 나섰다.
홍성군(군수 이용록)과 충남신용보증재단(이사장 조소행)은 10일, 지역 청년의 창업 활성화 및 디지털 경쟁력 제고를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다. 이번 협약은 단순한 창업 자금 지원을 넘어 교육과 컨설팅, 체험단 운영, 금융 연계 등을 포함한 종합적 지원 체계를 마련한 것이 특징이다.
협약의 핵심은 ‘청년 로컬창업 지원’과 ‘기존 창업자의 디지털 역량 강화’ 두 축으로 나뉜다. 지역 청년 예비창업자에게는 창업 교육과 맞춤형 컨설팅, 신용보증을 통한 창업자금 연계, 현장 중심의 체험 프로그램을 제공하고, 이미 창업한 이들에게는 온라인 시장 진출을 위한 디지털 전환 교육과 운영 컨설팅, 경영자금 지원 등이 뒷받침된다.
양 기관은 특히 충남신용보증재단이 보유한 금융 인프라와 컨설팅 역량을 십분 활용해 ‘창업–교육–금융’을 아우르는 통합형 창업 생태계를 구축하겠다는 계획이다.

이용록 홍성군수는 “행정적·재정적 지원을 아끼지 않고, 창업-금융-유통 연계 시스템 구축을 통해 청년 정책이 실질적인 성과로 이어질 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”라고 밝혔으며, “이번 협약으로 청년들이 지역에서 미래를 설계하고, 강화된 디지털 역량을 기반으로 글로벌 시장까지 도전할 수 있는 기회의 발판이 되기를 바란다”라고 강조했다.
군은 이번 협약을 통해 수도권으로 유출되는 지역 청년 문제를 완화하고, 청년들이 지역에 뿌리내리며 경제 주체로 성장할 수 있는 환경을 마련한다는 방침이다.
한편, 이번 사업과 관련해 청년 예비창업자 및 기존 창업자를 대상으로 한 참여팀(총 25개 팀)은 추후 공개모집을 통해 선발할 예정이다. 접수 일정과 방식은 향후 별도로 공지된다.
