대전동부교육지원청, 1970부대와 '진로·직업 체험의 날' 운영

'호국보훈의 달'을 맞아 대전 지역 중학생들이 직접 군부대를 찾아 직업 군인의 삶을 체험하며, 진로에 대한 고민을 깊이 있게 이어갔다. 

대전동부교육지원청은 13일, 육군 제1970부대와 협력해 ‘진로·직업 체험의 날’ 행사를 운영했다고 밝혔다.

이번 체험 활동은 지난해 대전동부교육지원청과 육군 제1970부대 간 체결된 업무협약을 토대로 기획되었으며, 자유학기제 운영의 일환으로 중학생들에게 다양한 진로 탐색 기회를 제공하고자 마련됐다. 특히 '책임과 헌신'이라는 군인의 가치관을 중심에 두고, 학생들이 직업 군인의 삶을 체험하며 스스로의 미래를 계획·성찰할 수 있도록 구성됐다.

현장을 찾은 학생들은 감사 편지를 직접 낭독하며 군 장병들에게 고마움을 전하는 시간을 시작으로, 장갑차 탑승 체험, 부대 내 주요 시설 견학, 군 장병과의 대화 등 다채로운 프로그램에 참여했다. 체험 과정 내내 학생들의 눈빛에는 군인의 삶에 대한 진지한 호기심과 존중이 엿보였다.
