금산다락원 청소년수련관이 오는 14일, 지역 초·중학생과 그 가족을 대상으로 한 첫 번째 ‘가족과 함께하는 역사기행’을 서울 경복궁에서 진행한다.
이번 행사는 총 15가족, 약 30명이 함께하며 조선왕조의 500년 역사를 직접 체험하는 시간을 갖는다.
이번 기행은 ‘역사 타임머신, 조선왕조 500년의 발자취’를 주제로 마련됐다. 교과서 속 역사 지식을 현장에서 생생하게 마주할 수 있도록 구성됐으며, 단순한 견학이 아닌 가족 간 소통과 정서적 유대도 함께 도모할 수 있는 프로그램으로 기획됐다.
참가자들은 전통 한복을 입고 고궁을 거닐며 조선시대의 문화를 체험하고, 전문 해설사의 설명과 함께 경복궁 곳곳을 탐방하게 된다. 이를 통해 역사를 단순한 지식이 아닌, 삶의 일부로 체득하는 기회를 제공받는다.
이번 역사기행은 올해 총 3회에 걸쳐 진행될 예정이다. 경복궁을 시작으로, 오는 7월 19일에는 유네스코 세계유산에 등재된 충청남도 백제역사지구로 발길을 옮기고, 8월 16일에는 천안과 예산 일대를 찾아 ‘교과서 속 애국 역사기행’을 주제로 한 탐방을 이어간다.
회차별로 각각 15가족 내외를 모집해 운영하며, 참여 희망자는 금산다락원 청소년수련관(☎ 041-750-4167)을 통해 신청할 수 있다.
군 관계자는 “청소년들이 역사 현장을 답사하고 체험하며 올바른 역사관과 인성을 함양해 훌륭한 인재로 성장하는 데 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “가족이 함께하는 여행을 통해 소중한 추억을 쌓으며 서로의 사랑을 느껴보는 시간이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
