(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평세림병원(병원장 양문술)이 지난 15일, 최향숙간호부원장이 (사)인천의료사회봉사회와 함께 나눔과 배려로 함께하는 이웃사랑 실천봉사에 참여했다고 밝혔다.
세림병원에 따르면, 이번 의료봉사는 '나눔과 배려로 함께하는 이웃사랑 실천'을 목표로, 의료 사각지대에 놓인 인천 남동구 거주 홀몸노인, 다문화가정, 외국인 노동자 등 의료 소외계층이웃들에게 전문적인 의료 서비스를 제공하고자 마련됐다.
봉사 현장에서는 내과, 가정의학과, 소아청소년과, 정형외과, 피부비뇨기과, 안과, 외과, 한방과 등 다양한 진료 파트의 전문의들이 참여하여 폭넓은 진료를 제공했다.
이번 행사에 함께한 인천시의료사회봉사회의 최향숙 세림병원간호부원장은 "외국인 노동자, 다문화가정의 가족들은 의료의 사각지대에 놓여있을 수 있고, 이렇게 다양한 파트의 전문의 진료를 받기는 더욱 쉽지 않을 수 있다"며, "저희 인천시의료사회봉사회는 그분들의 아픔을 위로하고 작으나마 도움을 드리고자 이 행사를 남동구의사회와 함께 준비했다"고 밝히며 의료봉사에 대한 깊은 마음을 전했다.
