도시역사관에 따르면, 이번 전시는 미술인들이 참여해 도시의 이미지를 예술로 담아내는 ‘도시를 보는 작가전’의 일환으로, 광복 80주년을 맞아 인천 출신 그래피티(graffiti) 작가 레오다브(LEODAV)의 작품을 통해 새로운 감각으로 광복의 환희와 의미를 되새기기 위해 마련됐다.
