해병대 1사단 장병, 신속한 응급처치로 국민 생명 지켜

이 같은 사실은 현장에서 목격한 열차 객실장의 칭찬 민원 제보로 뒤늦게 알려지게 됐다.

이 해병은 객실에서 발작 증세를 보이며 의식을 잃어가고 있는 승객을 목격하고승객이 착용하고 있던 블루투스 이어폰을 해제하고 수시로 의식을 확인하며 혈액 순환을 돕기 위해 팔과 다리를 주무르는 등 열차 내에있던 간호사 승객과 열차 객실장 옆에서 응급처치를 도왔다.

이후, 응급처치를 받은 승객이 안정을 취할 수 있도록 다른 승객들과 함께 안전하게 통로로 옮겼으며, 발작이 멈춘 후에도 곁을 지키면서 현장에 도착한의료진에게 상황을 인계했다.

칭찬 민원을 제보한 SRT 객실장 김태종씨(37세)는 “역에 도착해 구조대원에게승객을 인도할 때에도 들것에 같이 환자를 실어 승강장에 내려주는 등 끝까지도움을 주었다.”며 “이준호 상병 덕분에 해병대의 멋진 모습을 볼 수 있었으며,다시 한번 감사의 인사를 전한다.”고 말했다.

이에 이준호 상병은 “응급상황이 발생했으니 무조건 도와드려야겠다는 생각뿐이었다.”며 “앞으로도 국가와 국민이 필요로할 때 주어진 사명을 완수하는 해병대원이 되겠다.”고 말했다.
