(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 오는 7월부터, 자원순환센터에 대한 젊은 세대의 창의적인 홍보와 인식 개선을 위해 자원순환에 관심 있는 시민을 선발해 ‘에코 크리에이터즈’를 운영한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 시는 시민과 함께 수평적인 눈높이에서 자원순환 정책을 바라보는 전환점을 마련하기 위해 지난해부터 ‘에코 크리에이터즈’를 운영하고 있으며, 올해는 6월 20일부터 7월 4일까지 참가자를 모집해 총 10명 이내로 선발할 계획이다.
신청 자격은 인천시에 거주하거나 인천시 소재 교육기관에 재학 중인 학생, 또는 인천시 소재 직장인으로, 자원순환 분야에 관심 있는 20세(2005년생)부터 39세(1986년생)까지의 시민이라면 누구나 지원할 수 있다. 합격자는 서류심사를 통해 7월 중 개별 통보될 예정이다.
‘에코 크리에이터즈’는 7월 발대식을 시작으로 12월까지 자원순환센터의 이론과 운영 방식을 탐구하는 현장 견학, 정책 분석을 위한 분임모임, 실적발표회 등을 진행하며, 관련 콘텐츠를 제작·게시해 자원순환 정책에 대한 시민 인식 개선에 힘쓸 예정이다.
특히, 카드뉴스 등 창의적인 홍보 콘텐츠 제작을 통해 자원순환 정책에 대한 시민들의 긍정적인 인식을 확산시킬 계획이다.
아울러, 송도자원환경센터와 청라자원환경센터를 비롯해 하남, 평택 등 타 시도의 선진 자원순환 시설 견학 기회와 에코 크리에이터즈 활동에 대해 봉사 시간을 인정, 활동 우수자에 대한 유공자 포상 등 다양한 혜택을 제공해 시민들의 적극적인 참여를 유도할 예정이다.
한편, 인천시는 지난해에도 ‘에코 크리에이터즈’ 2명을 선발해 홍보 콘텐츠 10건 제작, 자원순환센터 견학, 활동실적 발표회 등 활동을 진행한 바 있다.

또한, 인천시가 23일, 수산업 환경의 변화에 능동적으로 대응하고 어촌의 지속 가능한 성장을 도모하기 위해 ‘대무의항 개발(정비)계획 수립 용역’에 착수했다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 대무의항은 인천 중구 무의도에 위치한 지방어항으로, 지난 2009년 8월 기본계획이 수립돼 개발이 진행됐으나, 이후 무의대교가 개통되면서 어항시설 일부의 기능이 상실돼 어업인들의 불편이 지속되어 왔다.
이에 인천시는 올해 3억 5천만 원의 예산을 확보하고, 대무의항의 시설 현황에 대한 기초조사를 비롯해 파랑변형, 해수유동, 부유사 확산 등 수치모형실험을 실시해 어항 정비계획을 수립할 계획이다.
또, 이번 용역에는 어항 정비계획에 대한 해양공간적합성 협의와 재해영향성 검토가 포함되어 있으며, 어항시설 기능 상실 구간인 물양장 조성을 위한 공유수면 매립기본계획도 함께 수립해 2026년 5월까지 용역을 완료할 예정이다.
