(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 지난 23일 고용노동부 부천지청, 부천시테크노파크발전협의회와 함께 ‘현장 밀착형 고용지원 업무협약’을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 이날 협약식에는 조용익 부천시장, 김주택 고용노동부 부천지청장, 하영수 부천시테크노파크발전협의회 회장이 참석해 산업현장의 수요에 기반한 일자리 지원에 협력하기로 뜻을 모았다.
이번 협약은 부천지역노사민정협의회 논의 결과 도출된 과제를 실행에 옮기기 위한 방안으로 추진됐다.
특히, 지역 기업의 인력난과 구직자의 일자리 미스매칭 문제를 해소하기 위한 전략적 연대로, 현장과 정책, 사람과 기업을 유기적으로 연결하는 데 초점을 맞췄다.
협약에 따라 세 기관은 기업현장 방문 및 채용행사 공동 개최, 고용촉진 및 기업지원 관련 제도 안내, 정기 협의와 성과 공유 등을 통해 협력 체계를 강화하고 지역 고용 문제 해결을 위한 실질적인 방안을 지속적으로 모색할 계획이다.
이날 협약에 참석한 김주택 고용노동부 부천지청장은 “하반기 중 찾아가는 현장채용관, 고용노동정책 상담부스 운영 등으로 부천지역 구인·구직자와의 친밀도를 높여줄 것”이라면서 협약기관 간 적극적인 소통과 지원을 요청했다.
하영수 부천시테크노파크발전협의회 회장은 “중소기업이 겪는 인력난을 해소할 수 있도록 현장의 목소리가 정책에 반영되는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “실질적인 고용 지원이 이뤄질 수 있도록 적극 협력하겠다”고 말했다
조용익 부천시장은 “이번 협약은 책상 위 정책을 넘어 현장에서 작동하는 고용지원 모델로 나아가는 첫걸음”이라며 “기업에게는 필요한 인재를, 시민에게는 일할 기회를 연결하는 실효성 있는 플랫폼이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

또한, 부천시가 지난 23일 부천시자살예방센터와 함께 자살 예방과 생명존중 문화 조성을 위한 ‘생명존중 안심마을 업무 협약식 및 토론회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 이날 행사에는 보건의료, 교육, 복지, 지역사회, 공공기관 등 5개 분야의 57개 기관·단체와 30여 개 유관기관 관계자 등 140여 명이 참석했다.
행사는 1부 협약식, 2부 자살 예방 실천 전략 도출을 위한 원탁 토론회 순으로 진행됐다.
‘생명존중 안심마을’ 사업은 동 단위를 중심으로 지역 내 다양한 자원을 연계해 자살 예방 안전망을 구축하고, 자살률 감소를 목표로 다각적인 자살 예방 전략을 추진하는 사업이다.
올해 부천시는 심곡1동, 심곡2동, 중3동, 중4동, 소사본동, 심곡본1동, 성곡동, 원종1동 등 총 8개 동을 생명존중 안심마을로 조성하였고, 96개 기관 및 단체와 함께 사업을 추진할 계획이다.
참여 기관들은 자살 고위험군 발굴 및 연계, 자살 예방 인식개선 캠페인, 자살 예방 교육, 자살위험 수단 차단 등에 협력하기로 했으며, 부천시 자살률 감소를 위한 실천을 약속했다.
‘100人100色, 생명을 말하다’를 주제로 열린 2부 원탁 토론회에서는 협약기관 외에도 다양한 유관기관 관계자들이 함께 참여해 자살 예방을 위한 실행 전략을 논의하고 의견을 공유했다.
참여자들은 이번 토론을 통해 자살 예방을 위한 다양한 의견을 나누고 향후 추진할 실천 과제들을 구체적으로 정리했다.
