(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서꾸가 지난 23일 서구청 본청 현관 앞에서 ‘행정체제 개편 D-day 카운트다운 제막식 및 검단구 임시청사 부지 사용 계약 체결식(LH)’을 가졌다고 밝혔다.
서구에 따르면, 이날 제막식 행사에는 강범석 서구청장과 함께 서구의회 의원, 행정체제개편추진단, 주민소통단 주민대표 등 관계자들이 참석했다.
행정체제 개편일인 2026년 7월 1일을 ‘D-day’ 종료일로 설정한 카운트다운 전자현황판은 서구청 본청사 정문에 설치됐으며, 분구까지 남은 기간을 구민과 직원들에게 시각적으로 홍보하는 역할을 해낼 예정이다.
한편, 이날 함께 진행된 ‘검단구 임시청사 부지 LH 계약 체결식’에서는 서구청과 LH가 검단구 임시청사 토지 무상사용 상호 합의를 맺었다.
강범석 서구청장은 “서구·검단구 출범은 단순한 행정구역 조정을 넘어 우리 지역 균형발전과 경쟁력 강화를 이뤄낼 필수적 과제”라며 “분구가 눈앞에 다가온 만큼, 조직 결속력을 강화해 더욱 성실히 업무를 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
