충남 홍성군(군수 이용록)은 지난 23일, 군청 회의실에서 ‘재가 의료급여 사업’의 운영 효율성과 서비스 질 제고를 위한 민관 간담회를 열고 지역 내 협력기관들과 실질적인 개선 방안을 모색했다고 24일 밝혔다.
이번 간담회는 퇴원 후 재가 요양이 필요한 의료급여 수급자에게 보다 안정적인 돌봄 환경을 조성하기 위해 마련됐다. 현행 제도의 운영 현황을 공유하고, 서비스 전달 과정에서 발생하는 현실적인 애로사항을 짚는 동시에, 개선과제에 대한 현장 의견을 폭넓게 청취하는 자리였다.
이날 행사에는 홍성의료원, 올리브재가노인종합지원센터, 청로노인종합복지센터, 홍성주거복지센터, 만찬유, 홍성군지역사회보장협의체, 홍성군사회복지협의회, 자원봉사센터, 지역자활센터 등 지역 의료·복지 분야 관계자 15명이 참석해 협력 기반 강화를 위한 심도 깊은 논의를 진행했다.
간담회에서는 의료급여 수급자의 퇴원 후 재가 적응을 위한 다각적 지원 방안과 지역사회 연계자원의 효율적 활용 방안도 함께 다뤄졌다. 특히 민간 복지기관이 제공할 수 있는 맞춤형 서비스의 연계 가능성과 그 실행 방안에 대해 각 기관이 경험을 공유하고, 자원 간 중복 방지와 협력 체계 구축에 의견을 모았다.
박성래 홍성군 복지정책과장은 “홍성군은 앞으로도 재가 의료급여 제공기관과 협력을 강화하여, 퇴원이 필요한 장기입원 의료급여 수급권자가 퇴원 후 집에서 불편함 없이 안정적으로 생활할 수 있도록 양질의 재가 의료급여 서비스를 제공해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
