대전시교육청이 최근 대전가원학교에서 발생한 교실 흔들림 사안과 관련해 긴급 안전대책을 시행하고 나섰다.
교육청은 지난 6월 17일 해당 학교에서 교실이 흔들린다는 민원이 제기된 직후 구조기술사와의 합동점검을 진행했으며, 당시에는 건물 구조에 이상 징후가 발견되지 않았다고 밝혔다.
해당 건물은 지난 2월 구조보강공사를 마친 뒤 구조감리를 통해 안전성을 확보한 상태였다. 그러나 교직원과 학부모들의 불안감이 이어지자 교육청은 근본적인 원인 분석과 객관적인 검증을 위해 정밀안전진단에 돌입했다. 이번 진단은 지반 상태와 건물 변형 여부, 마감재 균열 등 전반에 대한 정밀 현장조사로 구성되며, 현장진단에 15일, 전체 보고서 작성까지는 30일이 소요될 예정이다.
