(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천서구문화재단이 오는 7월 18일 오후 7시, 새롭게 단장한 인천서구문화회관 대공연장에서 재개관 기념공연 ‘새로운 시작, 다시 울리는 무대’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
서구문화재단에 따르면, 1995년 개관 이후 30년 만에 전면 리모델링을 거친 이번 재개관은, 오랜 시간 지역문화의 중심지로 사랑받아온 서구문화회관이 새롭게 출발하는 뜻깊은 전환점이다.
이번 공연은 변화된 공간을 구민과 함께 처음으로 선보이는 공식 무대로, 지역예술인과 구민이 한자리에 모여 서구문화회관의 새로운 시작을 함께 축하한다는 점에서 의미가 깊다.
1부에서는 인천시립교향악단이 출연해 드보르자크의 ‘카니발 서곡’과 ‘신세계로부터’ 4악장, 비제의 오페라 ‘카르멘’ 모음곡 등을 연주하며 클래식의 깊은 울림으로 공연의 문을 연다.

이번 리모델링을 통해 무대, 음향, 조명 등 공연 인프라 전반이 최신 시스템으로 업그레이드됐으며, 좌석의 간격을 넓혀 관람객의 편의성과 접근성 또한 크게 개선됐다.
