충남 서천군이 군민 참여 행정의 일환으로 운영 중인 ‘정책참여단’과 함께 지난 26일 '2025년도 제1차 주요사업장에 대한 현장평가'를 실시하며 지역 정책 추진의 투명성과 실효성 제고에 나섰다.
이번 평가는 군정 핵심사업의 추진 과정과 성과를 군민의 눈높이에서 점검하기 위한 목적으로 마련됐다. 이수영 정책참여단장을 포함한 총 17명의 단원이 참여한 가운데, 부서별 설명 청취와 현장 방문을 병행해 사업별 실질적 성과를 다각도로 살폈다.
현장평가는 총 11개 부서의 주요 사업을 대상으로 진행됐다. 이 중 4건의 사업은 회의실 내에서 브리핑 형식으로 설명이 이뤄졌으며, 나머지 7건은 실제 사업장을 직접 방문해 현장 상황을 눈으로 확인하고, 관련 부서의 상세한 설명을 들은 후 평가가 진행됐다.
점검 대상 사업에는 '미래농업과학관 운영', '역도전용훈련장 건립', '마산면 농촌보금자리 조성', '2024년 호우피해지 복구', '춘장대 해양체험파크 조성' 등 군이 역점을 두고 추진 중인 핵심 과제가 포함됐다. 평가단은 각 사업의 목적, 추진 경과, 주민 체감도 등을 종합적으로 분석하며 개선 방향에 대한 의견을 제시했다.
