충남 서산시의회 가선숙 의원의 조율로 지역 아동복지시설에 실질적 지원이 이뤄지며, 민관 협력의 모범사례가 만들어졌다.
지난 25일, 서산시 소재 아동복지시설 ‘행복한 둥지 공동생활가정’에 에어컨, 세탁기, 건조기 등 500만 원 상당의 생활가전이 전달됐다.
이번 기증은 가 의원의 연계를 통해 국제라이온스협회 356-F(세종·충남지구)와 서산지역 위원회가 함께 뜻을 모아 성사된 것으로, 복지 사각지대에 놓인 아동들에게 따뜻한 나눔의 손길이 이어진 사례로 주목받고 있다.
‘행복한 둥지’는 학대나 방임 등으로 보호가 필요한 5~6명의 남자 아동이 생활하는 그룹홈 형태의 아동복지시설이다. 이곳에서는 아동들의 정서적 안정을 도모하고, 건강한 자립을 위한 상담·양육·진로지도가 함께 제공된다.
