충남 계룡시(시장 이응우)가 지역 아동들의 바른 식습관 형성을 위해 어린이·사회복지급식관리지원센터(센터장 최지유)와 손잡고 지난 4월부터 6월까지 우유의 생산과 영양 정보를 주제로 한 체험형 영양 교육을 운영했다.
이번 교육은 우유의 가치와 효능을 직접 보고, 듣고, 체험하는 과정을 통해 어린이들의 흥미를 끌고, 건강한 음용 습관을 형성하는 데 초점을 맞췄다.
교육 프로그램은 '우유의 제조 과정, 우유에 담긴 영양성분과 우수성, 우유 짜기 체험, 퍼즐 맞추기' 등 참여 중심의 활동으로 구성됐다. 아이들은 단순한 강의를 넘어, 놀이와 학습이 결합된 프로그램을 통해 우유에 대한 거부감을 낮추고 친숙함을 높이는 시간을 가졌다.
센터 관계자는 “아이들의 눈높이에 맞춘 맞춤형 교육 덕분에 우유의 영양학적 의미를 자연스럽게 익히고, 올바른 섭취 습관까지 연계할 수 있었다”며 “앞으로도 아이들이 즐겁게 참여할 수 있는 다양한 식생활 교육을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
