여름철 집중호우와 폭염, 낙뢰 등 기상이변이 잦아지는 가운데 보령시가 재난에 선제적으로 대응하기 위한 행보에 본격 돌입했다.
충남 보령시는 김동일 시장 주재로 ‘2025년 여름철 자연재난 대비 관계기관 대책회의’를 개최하고, 여름철 재난 상황에 대한 통합 대응전략을 논의했다고 3일 밝혔다.
회의에는 시 재난안전대책본부 소속 15개 부서를 포함해 보령경찰서, 보령소방서, 보령해양경찰서, 한국농어촌공사 보령지사, 제8361부대 2대대, 자율방재단 등 주요 유관기관 관계자들이 참석해 협업체계를 점검하고 대응 공조 방안을 모색했다.
시는 특히 극한 기후로 인한 침수와 산사태 등에 대비해 '하천 인근 체육시설', '저지대 주차장', '세월교', '산책로' 등 주요 침수 취약지역에 대한 사전 통제 계획을 수립한 상태다. 아울러 모든 행정마을 단위로 ‘1마을 1대피 훈련’을 추진, 주민이 주도하는 재난 대응 역량을 체계적으로 키워나가고 있다.
