대구 남구(구청장 조재구)는 지난 6월 30일부터 오는 7월 4일까지 남구청 종합민원실에서 '2025년 2분기 평생학습관 강좌 작품전시회'를 개최하고 있다.
이번 전시회는 지역 주민들이 참여한 평생학습 프로그램 결과물을 전시해, 지역사회에 평생교육 문화를 확산하고 배움의 기쁨을 함께 나누기 위해 마련됐다.
전시 오프닝 행사에는 조재구 남구청장과 수강생 등 관계자들이 참석했으며, 수강생들이 직접 제작한 다채로운 창작물들이 전시장을 가득 채우며 눈길을 끌었다.
이번 전시회에는 ‘창작종이공예 심화과정’, ‘프랑스 자수’, ‘오일파스텔화’, ‘먹 캘리그라피’ 등 총 4개 강좌 수강생들이 참여했다. 각 작품은 실용성과 예술성을 겸비한 결과물로, 제작자의 개성과 정성이 고스란히 담겨 있어 구청을 찾은 방문객들에게 큰 호응을 얻고 있다.
전시된 강좌는 모두 남구 평생학습관의 정규 프로그램으로, 주민의 자기계발을 돕고 학습형 일자리 연계까지 가능한 실질적 교육과정으로 운영되고 있다.
조재구 남구청장은 “이번 전시는 주민이 학습의 주체가 되어 스스로 성장한 결과를 지역과 나누는 뜻깊은 자리”라며, “앞으로도 남구는 세대와 계층을 아우르는 평생학습 프로그램을 통해 모두가 함께 배우고 성장하는 평생학습도시를 실현해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

This exhibition was prepared to display the results of lifelong learning programs in which local residents participated, spread lifelong education culture in the local community, and share the joy of learning together.
The exhibition opening ceremony was attended by Nam-gu Mayor Cho Jae-gu, students, and other related officials, and the exhibition hall was filled with colorful creative works created by the students themselves, drawing attention.
Students from a total of 4 courses participated in this exhibition, including 'Creative Paper Craft Intensive Course', 'French Embroidery', 'Oil Pastel Painting', and 'Ink Calligraphy'. Each work is a result of both practicality and artistry, and the creator’s individuality and sincerity are fully expressed, receiving a great response from visitors to the district office.
All of the lectures on display are regular programs of the Nam-gu Lifelong Learning Center, and are operated as practical educational courses that help residents develop themselves and even link them to learning-type jobs.
Nam-gu Mayor Cho Jae-gu said, “This exhibition is a meaningful place where residents become the main subjects of learning and share the results of their own growth with the region,” and added, “Nam-gu will continue to realize a lifelong learning city where everyone learns and grows together through lifelong learning programs that encompass generations and classes.”
