선린대학교, 2025학년도 한국어과정 여름학기 입학식 개최

【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=선린대학교(총장 곽진환)는 지난 7월 2일 만나관 3층 성시홀에서 ‘2025학년도 한국어과정 여름학기 입학식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 입학식에는 베트남, 키르기스스탄, 우즈베키스탄, 몽골, 필리핀 등 5개국에서 온 유학생 160여 명과 한국어 강사, 대학 관계자 등 총 180여 명이 참석했으며, 1부 입학식과 2부 오리엔테이션 및 대면식 순으로 진행됐다.

곽진환 총장은 입학 허가 선언과 함께 축사를 통해 “이번 한국어과정 수업을 통해 단순한 언어 습득을 넘어 한국의 다양한 문화를 체험하며 세계시민으로 성장하는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 유학생들을 환영하고 격려했다.

최현아 국제교류교육센터장은 “여러분의 꿈과 목표를 이루기 위한 첫걸음을 선린대학교에서 시작하게 되어 매우 뜻깊다”며 “공부가 쉽지 않은 순간도 있겠지만, 열정을 가지고 도전한다면 충분히 극복할 수 있을 것”이라고 응원의 메시지를 전했다.

한편, 선린대학교 국제교류교육센터는 2025년 RISE(지역혁신중심 대학지원체계) 사업 선정에 따라 향후 5년간 ‘유학생 정주형 교육 플랫폼 구축’을 목표로, 한국어 교육뿐만 아니라 학부 진학, 취업, 지역사회 정착에 이르기까지 유학생의 전방위적인 지원을 강화할 계획이다.

Seonlin University Holds 2025 Korean Language Course Summer Semester Entrance Ceremony

Seonlin University (President Kwak Jin-hwan) announced that it held the ‘2025 Korean Language Course Summer Semester Entrance Ceremony’ on July 2nd at the Seongsi Hall on the 3rd floor of Manna Hall.

A total of 180 people including 160 international students from 5 countries including Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, and the Philippines, Korean language instructors, and university officials attended the ceremony. The ceremony was held in two parts: the first part was the entrance ceremony, and the second part was the orientation and face-to-face ceremony.

President Kwak Jin-hwan welcomed and encouraged the international students in his congratulatory speech along with the declaration of admission, saying, “I hope that this Korean language course will be an opportunity for them to experience Korea’s diverse culture beyond simply acquiring the language and grow as global citizens.”

Choi Hyun-ah, the director of the International Exchange Education Center, said, “It is very meaningful that you are taking the first step toward achieving your dreams and goals at Seonlin University,” and sent a message of encouragement, saying, “There may be times when studying is not easy, but if you challenge yourself with passion, you will be able to overcome it.”

Meanwhile, Seonlin University’s International Exchange Education Center plans to strengthen its comprehensive support for international students, from Korean language education to undergraduate advancement, employment, and settlement in the local community, with the goal of ‘building an international student settlement education platform’ over the next five years in accordance with the selection for the 2025 RISE (Regional Innovation-Oriented University Support System) project.
