【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=경상북도교육청(교육감 임종식)이 ‘2025 경상북도교육청 직업교육박람회 Go Together’를 개최한다고 7일 밝혔다.
오는 9일부터 10일까지 이틀간 구미시 구미코(GUMICO)에서 열리는 올해 박람회는 ‘같이의 가치를 실현하는 경북직업교육’을 주제로, 변화하는 산업사회에 대응하는 직업교육의 비전을 제시하고 학생과 학부모, 기업이 함께하는 진로·취업 정보의 장으로 꾸려진다.
박람회는 중학생과 학부모에게는 진로 탐색의 기회를, 취업을 준비하는 고등학생에게는 실제 채용 기회를 제공하는 실질적인 행사로 마련됐다.
특히, 특수학교 학생들도 참여해 직업교육 프로그램과 취업 정보를 함께 제공받을 수 있도록 구성돼, 교육의 포용성과 다양성을 강조한다.
경북교육청 직업교육박람회는 1999년 전국 최초로 ‘산업교육 페스티벌’이라는 이름으로 출발해 올해로 27회를 맞았다. 꾸준한 성장 속에 올해는 도내 60여 개 학교와 기관, 32개 기업체가 참여해 다양한 직업교육 체험과 현장 채용관을 운영할 예정이다.
1층에는 직업교육홍보관과 더불어 전국 최초로 운영되는 해외우수유학생관, 독일·호주·싱가포르 등 해외 취업 프로그램을 소개하는 글로벌취업관이 마련된다.
2층 행사장에는 직업계고와 특수학교, 교육 관련 기관이 운영하는 60여 개의 체험·상담 부스가 설치돼 진학과 진로에 대한 실질적인 정보를 제공한다.
3층 현장 채용관에서는 농심, 아주스틸, 아진산업 등 32개 기업이 현장 면접을 통해 837명을 채용할 계획이다.
행사 둘째 날인 10일에는 대한민국 대표 인터넷 방송 플랫폼 ‘SOOP’의 공식 후원으로 인기 스트리머 ‘임다’와 ‘춤추는 곰돌’이 참여하는 토크콘서트가 열리며, 행사장 내 마련된 라이브 스트리밍 부스에서는 온라인 이벤트와 체험 프로그램이 동시에 운영된다.
임종식 교육감은 “경북 직업교육은 전국 취업률 5년 연속 1위, 전국기능경기대회 학생부 7년 연속 종합우승이라는 성과를 이어오고 있다”며 “이번 박람회가 학생과 학부모에게 경북 직업교육의 현재와 미래를 알리고, 특수교육 대상 학생에게도 새로운 진로의 기회를 제공하는 의미 있는 행사가 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.

Superintendent of Education Lim Jong-sik said, “Gyeongbuk vocational education has continued to achieve success, ranking first in national employment rate for five consecutive years and winning the overall championship in the student division of the National Skills Competition for seven consecutive years.” He added, “I hope that this expo will be a meaningful event that informs students and parents about the present and future of Gyeongbuk vocational education, and also provides new career opportunities for students with special needs.”
