【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구 동인동행정복지센터(동장 이상무)는 지난 4일 동인세대공감마당(국채보상로149길 81)에서 ‘2025 동인동 바리스타 교실(자격증반)’ 개강식을 열고 본격적인 주민 대상 커피 교육 프로그램을 시작했다.
올해로 6년째를 맞은 이 프로그램은 바리스타 2급 자격증 취득을 목표로 한 실습 중심의 과정으로, 매년 지역 주민들에게 높은 호응을 얻고 있다.
총 10명의 수강생이 참여해, 오는 8월 29일까지 매주 화요일과 금요일, 총 16회에 걸쳐 전문 강사의 지도 아래 커피 이론과 실습을 병행하며 자격 취득에 도전한다.
이번 교육은 단순한 취미 수준을 넘어, 자격증 취득과 실질적인 취·창업 역량 강화를 동시에 도모하는 주민 맞춤형 실무 과정으로 기획됐다. 특히 중·장년층의 재도전과 자기계발 기회를 넓히는 데 기여하고 있다는 평가다.
류규하 중구청장은 “바리스타 교실은 배움과 일의 기회를 함께 여는 실용적인 주민자치 프로그램”이라며 “앞으로도 주민들의 삶에 활력을 더하고, 지역사회와 함께 성장할 수 있는 교육 프로그램을 지속적으로 발굴·확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
