(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시 지난 7일, 인천시의회와 함께하는 현장 소통 프로그램 ‘우리동네 시청’의 일환으로 미추홀구 주요 민원 현장을 방문했다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면,‘우리동네 시청’은 민선 8기 시정 운영방향에 따라 시의회와 시 집행부가 함께 인천 10개 군·구의 지역 현안을 직접 챙기고, 시민의 목소리를 현장에서 듣는 소통 프로그램이다.
인천시는 이를 통해 지역 문제 해결을 위한 다양한 의견을 수렴하고, 실질적인 해결방안을 모색하는 데 중점을 두고 있다.
이번 미추홀구 현장 방문에서는 문학동 주택밀집지역의 소규모 주차장 조성, 용현·학익 1블록 도시개발사업 추진현황 점검, 인천대로 일반화사업 진행상황 점검, 인천도시철도 4호선 ‘신기시장역’ 신설 요청 등 총 4건의 지역 주요 민원에 대한 현장 점검이 이루어졌다.
현장에는 황효진 인천시 글로벌도시정무부시장을 비롯해 김종배, 박창호, 이봉락, 김대중 시의원과 인천시 시민소통담당관, 시 및 미추홀구 관계자, 지역 주민 등이 함께 참여해 다양한 의견을 나눴다.
첫 방문지는 문학동 삼호어린이공원으로, 원도심 내 주택 밀집 지역의 주차 문제를 확인하고 소규모 주차장 조성 방안에 대해 논의가 진행됐다.
김종배 시의원은 “지역 내 주차 공간 부족으로 생활 불편이 큰 만큼, 시민 수요를 반영한 신속한 추진이 필요하다”고 강조했다.
이어 방문한 용현·학익 1블록 도시개발사업 2호 근린공원 공사 현장에서는 공사 진행 상황에 대한 현장 점검이 이뤄졌다.
박창호 시의원은 “대규모 개발사업이 주민 삶의 질 향상으로 이어질 수 있도록, 공원 내 맨발산책로 조성 등 생활 인프라 확보에 철저를 기해야 한다”고 밝혔다.
세 번째로 방문한 인천대로 일반화사업 1공구 공사 현장에서는 인천시 핵심 도로망 재편 사업인 인천대로 일반화 추진 현황을 확인했다.
이봉락 시의원은 “인천대로 일반화는 지역 교통환경 변화와 직결되는 중요한 사업인 만큼, 조속한 추진을 통해 시민 불편을 최소화해야 한다”고 당부했다.
마지막으로 신기남부시장 공영주차장 사무실에서는 인천도시철도 4호선 ‘신기시장역’ 신설에 대한 지역 요구가 제기됐다.
김대중 시의원은 “신기시장 일대는 미추홀구의 핵심 상권으로, 지역 상권 활성화를 위해 신기시장역 신설이 꼭 필요하다”라고 건의했다.
황효진 부시장은 “오늘 미추홀구에서 확인한 민원과 건의 사항은 시의회 및 관계기관과의 긴밀한 협의를 통해 해결 방안을 마련해 나가겠다”며 “앞으로도 시민 삶의 현장에서 직접 답을 찾는 소통행정을 강화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
