【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구청(구청장 류규하)은 동인동 행정복지센터 신축을 위한 설계 공모에서 ㈜건축사사무소에이디에프건축의 설계안이 최종 당선작으로 선정됐다고 8일 밝혔다.
이번 설계 공모는 낡은 청사를 관내 중심지로 옮기고, 향후 대단지 아파트 입주 등으로 늘어날 행정 수요에 대비해 청사 규모를 키우기 위해 추진됐다. 주민들의 접근성을 높이고, 다양한 행정 서비스를 더 편리하게 제공하려는 목적도 담겨 있다.
공모에는 총 14개 작품이 접수됐으며, 건축 전문가 7명으로 구성된 심사위원회가 공정한 심사를 거쳐 당선작 1점과 입상작 4점을 선정했다. 당선된 에이디에프건축에는 기본 및 실시설계 용역권이 주어지고, 입상한 팀에는 상금이 지급된다.
심사위원회는 당선작에 대해 “지하 주차장 배치가 효율적이고, 주민자치 프로그램 공간 구성도 알차다”며 “공공청사로서의 기능성과 디자인 모두 뛰어나다”고 평가했다.
새로 지어질 행정복지센터는 동인동1가 339-1번지에 들어서며, 지하 1층~지상 5층, 연면적 2,400㎡ 규모로 건립될 예정이다. 내부에는 민원실, 주민자치 프로그램실, 느티나무 도서관, 강당 등 다양한 주민 편의시설이 포함된다.
중구청은 올해 말까지 기본 및 실시설계를 마무리하고, 2026년 착공을 목표로 사업을 본격 추진할 계획이다.
류규하 중구청장은 “이번 설계를 통해 청사의 기능과 접근성이 한층 강화될 것”이라며 “주민들이 오래 기다려온 청사 건립 사업이 성공적으로 마무리될 수 있도록 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.
