학교 현장의 업무 부담을 줄이고, 학생 중심 수업을 지원하는 AI 기반 웹앱 개발 성과가 전국적으로 인정받은 결과다.
한국공공정책평가협회가 주관하는 이 대회에는 전국 150여 개 기관이 참가했으며, G-AI Lab은 ‘경북형 AI 교육지원 솔루션’을 통해 교실과 행정의 혁신 모델을 제시했다.
2022년 출범한 G-AI Lab은 교사와 학생의 요구를 반영한 60여 종의 웹앱을 개발해 수업 자료 제작, 생활기록부 작성, 상담 업무 등 다양한 영역에서 활용되고 있다. 특히 학사 일정에 맞춰 개발된 ‘AI 비서 꾸러미’는 보고서 작성, 프로젝트 수업 도우미, 예술 창작 도구 등 실용적인 기능으로 교사와 학생들의 호응을 얻고 있다.
G-AI Lab의 가장 큰 특징은 교사가 직접 개발에 참여한다는 점이다. 교사와 AI 전문가, 전산 인력이 협업해 실질적 필요를 반영한 솔루션을 만들며, 기술의 수요자이자 생산자로 교사의 역할을 확장했다.
현재 이 앱들은 온무실.net(온라인 교무실)을 통해 전국에 보급되고 있으며, 학교 현장의 행정 효율성과 수업 집중도를 높이는 데 기여하고 있다.
임종식 경북교육감은 “AI와 교사의 집단지성이 결합한 새로운 교육 혁신 모델이 전국으로 확산되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지속적인 연구와 지원을 통해 미래 교육의 패러다임을 이끌어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Currently, these apps are being distributed nationwide through Onmusil.net (online classroom), and are contributing to improving administrative efficiency and class concentration in schools.
Gyeongbuk Superintendent of Education Lim Jong-sik said, “I hope that the new educational innovation model that combines AI and teachers’ collective intelligence will spread nationwide,” and added, “We will continue to lead the paradigm of future education through continuous research and support.”
