【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=경북교육청(교육감 임종식)은 14일 최근 산불 피해를 입은 청송여자고등학교를 방문해 ‘2025년 집중호우 대비 및 산불 피해 복구 관련 현장점검 회의’를 개최했다.
교육부 전진석 교육자치안전정책관을 비롯해 경북교육청과 청송교육지원청 관계자, 학교 교직원들이 함께 자리했다.
이번 현장점검은 피해 학교 복구 현황과 향후 일정, 여름철 자연재난 대응 체계를 점검하기 위해 마련됐다. 학생 안전과 학습권 보호를 최우선으로 두고 방재설비와 건축 안전 등 실질적인 대응 상황을 꼼꼼히 살폈다.
참석자들은 질의응답과 토론을 통해 재난 시 학생 보호, 교육 활동 유지, 관계기관 협력 강화 방안 등을 폭넓게 논의하며 학교 현장의 생생한 의견을 나눴다.
경북교육청은 이번 점검을 계기로 재난 대응 역량을 강화하고, 피해 재발 방지와 체계적인 복구 시스템 구축에 힘쓸 계획이다.
전진석 교육자치안전정책관은 “경북교육청의 신속한 대응과 복구 노력을 높이 평가하며, 교육부 차원의 지원도 적극 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
임종식 교육감은 “학생의 생명과 안전이 최우선”이라며 “재난 발생 시 신속하고 철저한 대응으로 학습권 보호에 최선을 다하겠다”고 강조했다.
