인천해경, 해양환경 보전 국민파트너와 간담회 실시

(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천해양경찰서가 지난 14일, 청사 대회의실에서 명예해양환경감시원 및 해양오염방제 자원봉사자들과 간담회를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

인천해경에 따르면,이번 간담회에서는 명예해양환경감시원 및 해양오염방제 자원봉사자 임무와 역할, 올해 상반기 운영 현황 및 하반기 활동 계획, 활성화 방안 및 건의사항 등이 논의됐다.

명예해양환경감시원은 해양환경의 훼손과 오염 예방을 위한 대국민 홍보, 해양환경 저해행위에 대한 감시와 신고, 폐기물 수거 등을 담당한다.

자원봉사자는 해양오염사고 발생 시 방제작업을 지원하며, 해안으로 유입된 해양쓰레기를 수거하는 정화활동 등을 담당한다.

인천해경 소속 명예해양환경감시원으로는 87명이, 자원봉사자로 60명이 위촉돼 활동하고 있다.

이광진 서장은 “명예해양환경감시원과 자원봉사자들의 해양환경 보전을 위한 헌신적인 노력에 감사드린다”며 “앞으로도 깨끗한 바다를 만들기 위한 적극적인 관심과 지원을 바란다”고 말했다.

Incheon Coast Guard announced that it held a meeting with honorary marine environment monitors and marine pollution prevention volunteers in the conference room of the office building on the 14th.
