계룡시, 경기침체 속 '소상공인 긴급 자금' 지원

충남 계룡시(시장 이응우)가 지역 소상공인을 위한 긴급 자금지원에 나섰다. 

시는 최근 경기침체로 큰 어려움을 호소하는 소상공인들의 애로를 해소하고 경영 안정을 도모하기 위해 총 30억 원 규모의 ‘소상공인 한시 경영안정자금’을 7월 14일부터 신속 지원하고 있다고 밝혔다. 

이번 조치는 연초 계룡시가 마련했던 68억 원 규모의 소상공인 특례보증 협약자금이 빠르게 소진된 데 따른 것으로, 시는 자체 기금을 활용해 자금 경색 상황에 대한 실질적인 대응에 나섰다. 이를 위해 지난 2일에는 충남신용보증재단과 업무협약을 체결하고, 신속한 보증지원과 행정적 협력을 확보했다. 해당 협약에는 재단의 우대보증 제공 및 보증 업무 대행 등이 포함됐다.

농협은행 계룡시지부도 자금지원에 동참한다. 시에 따르면 농협은 관련 대출이 신속히 실행될 수 있도록 실무 협조에 적극 나설 계획이다. 시 관계자는 “현장의 필요에 맞춰 민·관·금융기관이 삼각 협력체계를 구축했다”며 “실질적 체감이 가능한 지원이 되도록 행정 역량을 집중할 것”이라고 말했다.

지원 내용은 다음과 같다. 업체당 최대 5천만 원까지 자금 신청이 가능하며, 대출 시 1년간 1.5%의 이자를 시가 지원한다. 신청 대상은 계룡시 소재 소상공인으로, 충남신용보증재단 논산지점에 직접 방문하거나 재단 누리집(www.cnsinbo.co.kr), ‘보증드림’ 모바일 애플리케이션을 통해 신청할 수 있다.
