【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구·경북 지역 이공계 대학생들을 위한 특별한 네트워크 교육의 장이 열렸다.
네트워크 보안 전문기업 골든시스㈜(대표 박해선)는 지난 1일부터 3일까지 사흘간 본사 세미나룸에서 ‘제1회 골든시스 네트워크 챌린지’를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 이번 행사는 지역 대학생들에게 실전형 네트워크 교육 기회를 제공하고, 우수 인재를 발굴하기 위해 기획됐다.
이번 챌린지에는 경북대, 대구가톨릭대, 대구대, 영남대, 영남이공대, 영진전문대 등 지역 6개 대학에서 지원한 100여 명 가운데 선발된 21명의 학생이 참가했다. 참가자들은 네트워크 이론 교육부터 실제 장비 실습까지 이어지는 집중 교육을 이수한 뒤, 마지막 날에는 실력을 겨루는 최종 평가에 도전했다.
수료자 중 상위 3명에게는 ‘골든 장학금’이 수여되며, AI·네트워크 관련 기업들도 이번 행사에 힘을 보탰다. 시스코, HPE 아루바, 아리스타, 아이티언, 에티버스이비티, (사)대경ICT산업협회 등은 장려상 부문을 통해 지역 ICT 인재 양성을 응원했다.
박해선 골든시스 대표는 “단순한 교육을 넘어, 실제 산업 현장과 연결되는 기회를 만들고 싶었다”며 “앞으로도 지역 청년들이 네트워크 분야에서 전문성을 키우고 미래를 설계할 수 있도록 챌린지를 지속적으로 발전시켜 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
이번 챌린지는 골든시스가 지역 IT 생태계에 기여하고, 차세대 네트워크 인재 양성에 힘을 쏟는 첫걸음으로 의미를 더했다.

A special network education event was held for science and engineering college students in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions.
Goldensys Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Hae-seon), a network security company, announced that it held the ‘1st Goldensys Network Challenge’ in the headquarters seminar room for three days from the 1st to the 3rd. This event was planned to provide practical network education opportunities to local college students and to discover excellent talent.
Among the 100 students who applied from 6 local universities including Kyungpook National University, Daegu Catholic University, Daegu University, Yeungnam University, Yeungnam College of Science and Technology, and Yeungjin College, 21 students participated in this challenge. After completing intensive education ranging from network theory education to actual equipment practice, the participants took on the final evaluation on the last day to test their skills.
The top 3 students among the graduates will be awarded the ‘Golden Scholarship’, and AI and network-related companies also supported this event. Cisco, HPE Aruba, Arista, ITION, Etibus EBT, and Daegyeong ICT Industry Association supported the development of local ICT talent through the Encouragement Award category.
Park Hae-seon, CEO of Goldensys, said, “We wanted to create an opportunity to connect with actual industrial sites beyond simple education,” and “We will continue to develop the challenge so that local youth can develop expertise in the network field and design the future.”
This challenge was more meaningful as the first step for Goldensys to contribute to the local IT ecosystem and focus on developing next-generation network talent.
