(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 오는 26일까지 광복 80주년을 맞아 학생교육문화회관 가온갤러리에서 특별전 ‘독립운동가 최재형과 고려인 160년 역사’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 전시는 역사바로알기교육의 일환으로 마련됐으며, 학생과 교직원, 시민 누구나 무료로 관람할 수 있다.
전시는 독립운동가들의 숭고한 삶과, 디아스포라 속에서도 민족 정체성과 항일 의지를 지켜온 고려인의 역사를 조명하고자 기획됐다.
전시에는 러시아 연해주 지역의 고려인 독립운동을 다룬 희귀 사진과 사료, 최재형 선생의 활동을 조명하는 자료 등을 소개하며, 관람객들은 해외에서 이어진 독립운동의 실상을 생생하게 접할 수 있다.
인천시교육청 관계자는 “이번 전시가 기억과 교육이 만나는 공간이 되어, 독립운동의 의미를 되새기는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 역사바로알기교육을 지속해서 이어가겠다”고 말했다.

Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced that it will hold a special exhibition, 'Independence activist Choi Jae-hyung and 160 years of Koryo people' at the Gaon Gallery of the Student Education and Culture Center until the 26th to commemorate the 80th anniversary of liberation.
