대구시교육청, 사립유치원 급식기구 교체 지원… 유아 급식환경 개선 나서

【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청(교육감 강은희)이 여름철 유치원 급식 위생 강화를 위해 사립유치원 35곳에 총 1억 1,300만 원을 지원해 급식기구 교체 및 확충에 나선다.

이번 사업은 위생적이고 안전한 급식환경 조성을 통해 유아의 건강을 보호하고, 조리 업무의 효율성을 높이기 위한 것으로, 급식실에 필수 장비를 새로 들이거나 오래된 기구를 교체하는 데 초점을 맞췄다.

지원 대상은 지난 4월 관내 181개 사립유치원을 대상으로 신청을 받아 현장 실태조사를 거쳐 선정됐으며, 유치원당 최대 1,000만 원까지 지원된다. 

지원 품목은 ▲가스레인지/인덕션, ▲소독기, ▲식기세척기, ▲냉장고, ▲보존식냉동고, ▲취반기, ▲국솥, ▲야채절단기, ▲냉난방기 등 9종이다.

구매는 모두 공공조달시스템(나라장터·학교장터)을 통해 이뤄지며, 예산 집행의 투명성과 공공성을 높인다.

강은희 교육감은 “아이들이 안전하고 위생적인 환경에서 식사를 할 수 있도록 조리 여건을 개선하고, 조리종사자의 업무 부담도 덜어주는 계기가 될 것”이라며, “앞으로도 급식의 질 향상과 유아 건강 보호에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.
