제23회 세종조치원복숭아 축제가 오는 25일부터 27일까지 사흘간 세종시민운동장· 조치원 중심가일원에서 열린다.
세종시는 ‘117년 세종 조치원복숭아’라는 주제로 세종을 넘어 전국을 대표하는 여름 문화관광축제로 육성하기 위해 다양한 콘텐츠를 준비했다.
특히 새콤 달콤한 복숭아 구매는 물론 복숭아를 소재로 다양한 체험 프로그램을 통해 특별한 경험이 제공된다.
축제기간 ▲여름 ▲조치원 ▲복숭아 ▲시민참여에 중점을 두고 농가, 지역단체, 대학생 등 시민과 함께 하는 축제로 마련했다. 축제 컬러를 복숭아빛 '핑크'로 정하고, 핑크색 계열 패션 아이템 착용 시 특별한 혜택도 주어진다.
여름철 무더위를 고려해 주간 행사는 피하고 야간 행사 위주로 프로그램을 운영한다는 계획이다.
이번 축제는 △복숭아 판촉전, △먹거리, △즐길 거리, △볼거리, △조치원읍 연계행사 등 5개의 테마를 중심으로 준비했다.
