논산계룡교육지원청 Wee센터는 최근 지역 내 중·고등학생 80명을 대상으로 학업중단 예방 프로그램 ‘같이의 온도’를 실시하며, 학생 개개인의 특성에 맞춘 진로 탐색의 장을 마련했다.
이번 프로그램은 학업 포기 위험이 있는 청소년들에게 자기이해를 기반으로 한 학습 동기 부여와 학교 적응력 강화를 돕기 위해 기획됐다. 특히 지문에 내재된 유전적 정보를 분석하는 지문적성검사를 활용해 학생의 성격 유형, 인지 특성, 강점 등을 객관적으로 파악하고, 이에 따른 진로 방향을 구체적으로 제시한 것이 특징이다.
참여 학생들은 검사 결과를 바탕으로 본인의 특성과 적성에 대한 이해를 넓히고, 앞으로의 진로 목표를 보다 명확히 설정하는 기회를 가졌다. 한 학생은 “내가 직접 문항에 응답하는 방식이 아닌, 지문 하나로 다양한 성향과 가능성을 분석할 수 있다는 점이 신선하고 흥미로웠다”고 말했다.
