【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구청 볼링팀이 전북 남원에서 열린 '2025 남원 한국실업연맹 전국실업볼링대회'에서 금메달 2개, 동메달 2개를 따내며 종합우승을 차지했다.
이번 대회는 지난 7월 14일부터 21일까지 남원시 숲 볼링경기장에서 개최됐으며, 북구청 볼링팀은 탄탄한 실력과 팀워크를 바탕으로 전국 최강 자리를 다시 한번 입증했다.
3인조 경기에서는 강명진·오병준·최정우 선수가 평균 224점을 기록하며 금메달을 획득했고, 석진환·류제호·박경록 선수도 평균 218.1점으로 동메달을 추가했다.
이어진 5인조 경기에서는 예선 4위로 결선에 진출한 뒤, 예선 1위 울주군청과 접전을 펼쳐 평균 226.5점으로 동메달을 차지했다.
대회 마지막 날 열린 마스터즈 개인전에서는 오병준·류제호 선수가 12강에 진출해 같은 팀 맞대결을 벌였고, 오병준 선수가 승리하며 8강에 올랐다. 이후 준결승과 결승을 연달아 승리한 오병준 선수는 금메달을 목에 걸며 대회의 마지막을 장식했다.
배광식 북구청장은 “선수들의 땀과 열정이 만들어낸 값진 성과”라며 “앞으로도 선수들이 훈련에만 집중할 수 있도록 아낌없이 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
