【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단 대현도서관이 오는 8월 9일부터 10일까지 초등학교 3~4학년을 대상으로 ‘1박 2일 독서캠프’를 연다. 이번 캠프는 ‘곤충 탐험대, 책 숲에 들어서다’를 주제로 자연과 생명을 배우며 도서관을 체험할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램으로 구성됐다.
참가 어린이들은 도서관에서 하룻밤을 보내며 곤충의 생태를 직접 배우고 관찰하는 ‘곤충 오감 체험’과, 나만의 곤충 표본을 만들어보는 체험 활동을 통해 생태에 대한 흥미와 이해를 넓히게 된다.
도서관 이용법을 익히는 시간도 마련된다. 책에 붙은 청구기호를 단서 삼아 책을 찾고, 문제를 해결하는 ‘청구기호 책 찾기 게임’은 방 탈출 형식의 미션으로 꾸며져 재미와 학습을 동시에 제공한다.
이 밖에도 애니메이션 관람, 협력 활동 등 다양한 프로그램이 더해져 아이들에게 도서관에서의 특별한 여름밤 추억을 선사할 예정이다.
대현도서관 관계자는 “이번 독서캠프를 통해 아이들이 도서관을 더 친근하게 느끼고, 자연과 생명의 소중함도 함께 배울 수 있는 시간이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
