【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=영진전문대학교(총장 최재영) 파크골프경영과가 최근 시행된 파크골프 스포츠지도사 2급 국가자격시험에서 평균 38.94%라는 높은 합격률을 기록하며 전문 인재 양성의 저력을 다시 한 번 입증했다.
이번 시험을 통해 파크골프경영과는 △생활체육 파크골프 분야 21명 △노인스포츠지도사 16명 △유소년스포츠지도사 6명 △장애인스포츠지도사 1명 등 총 44명의 스포츠 전문 인력을 배출했다. 학년별로는 1학년 18명, 2학년 19명, 학사학위과정 7명이 자격을 취득해 학년 전반에 걸쳐 고른 성과를 보였다.
파크골프경영과는 전국 대학 최초로 18홀 전용 실습장을 보유하고 있으며, 실기 중심의 커리큘럼과 자격시험 대비 프로그램을 통해 실전형 인재 양성에 힘써왔다. 이러한 체계적인 교육과정이 높은 합격률로 이어졌다는 평가다.
조진석 학과장(대한파크골프협회 임원)은 “정규 교과 외에도 지도자로서의 인성과 리더십을 함께 기르는 데 주력하고 있다”며 “이번 성과는 탄탄한 실습환경과 커리큘럼, 그리고 학생들의 노력이 함께 만들어낸 결과”라고 밝혔다.
한편, 영진전문대 파크골프경영과는 국가공인 스포츠지도사 외에도 파크골프 1급 지도자, 심판, 강사 자격 등 파크골프 전반을 아우르는 전문자격 과정을 운영 중이며, 현재 2026학년도 신입생을 모집하고 있다.
